Time for a quick update and recap of our year.

Carter -11 yrs. old, 5’3” size 9 shoe. 6th grade. He continues to grow and will pass up Brigette in height soon. He played tackle football, learned how to wakeboard and surf, chipped his front tooth for the 3rd time or is it four now? He went to New York with Mom and Dad to see the Sacred Grove and surrounding areas. We also made a quick trip to Niagara Falls. He’s making great progress in scouts.

Kaden- 9 yrs. old, 4th grade, played on a championship tackle football team this year. They went 13-0 and took state in their division. Also learned to wakeboard. Kaden makes friends easily and is a great student.

Keyan – 6 yrs. old (Seven in February) 1st grade. Still our firecracker! Took karate lessons, played baseball, flag football and is learning to waterski. Loves to pick on Kye. He is one of the “three best” at school. He feels very lucky to have a brother in 6th grade who lets him play football with the older kids at recess.

Kye – 3 yrs. old (Four in February)- our baby is growing up. He learned how to write BYU then his name. He loves everything BYU related. Loves Y mountain and draws it too. He is smitten with the temples. We live in the only place in the world where you can see three temples at once. We see them every day. Kye can see the Draper Temple from his room, the Oquirrh Mountain Temple from our neighborhood and the Jordan River Temple when we drive around. He knows them all by name and location.

Justin went to China for work in November. What a trip! He saw the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and other very interesting places. He chose not to eat the scorpions and larvae. He continues to serve as a ward missionary and cubmaster.

Brigette is still serving as Primary President. Our ward continues to grow and currently has 150 kids. She loves crafting and reading. Kye is her constant buddy.

We miss you and wish you all the best this season! Merry Christmas!

My new favorite website: Deals to Meals!
www.dealstomeals.com

They have a great service that compares grocery sale prices every week to the prices at Costco and Walmart. Also, it includes menus using those sale items. Check it out!

Summer Days

Okay it's been way too long, I'm just not very good at this. We've been to Lake Powell already, sunburned Kaden and Keyan way too much and had a great time!

It's Birthday Time!

Aunt Wendy made me a great cake. I shared my party with Aunt Lori.

Kye's 3! He said, "I'm three, no more K-Y-E!"

His fascination with CARS continues so we humor him with all the paraphenalia we can find.

He's 6!

Here's the birthday boy. We went ice skating at a local outdoor rink with our extended family. We especially liked the fire to warm us up afterward.

These are serious karate masters. No smiling is allowed.

Cupcakes and presents are always good! He had a friend party during the day and a family party that night.

Christmas Eve 08

Christmas parties and Christmas goodies

Fun in December 08

We enjoyed a night of ice skating at the Olympic Oval. Kaden skated like a maniac for 2 hours. Kye didn't want to try the skates on at first but then he tried them and had to be on the ice. Nice back breaker for mom and dad! Keyan was nervous in the beginning but after a while didn't want any help at all. Carter did great, trying to chase down Kaden. We went with our dear friends -the Stosiches.
