Our Christmas Letter 2008

It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone. In past years we have sent out lots of letters and pictures for the Holidays. This year, we decided to just send it out electronically. So here is the Comish recap for 2008:
Carter (10) is about 5’2” tall and is very close to being taller than both of his Grandmas. He is excited about that but we try to tell him that that is not saying much. He loves football. Rarely will you see him around the house without a football in his hands or very close by. His football team did great this year going 10-2 and losing in the semi-final playoff game.
Kaden (8) had a very exciting year. He was baptized in August which was a great day for him and the family. He loves to read all types of books but not surprisingly he chooses football related books quite often. Kaden played tackle football this year for the first time. He was very excited to get the jersey number he wanted (45- after the BYU running back Harvey Unga). He played wide receiver and cornerback. He had 3 tackles in one game. His team played for the Championship but lost to the team that beat them in the regular season.
Keyan (5) is as fiery as ever. We have always said that he is the fire cracker of the group and this year was no exception. He loves to mix it up with his brothers and play football. Keyan is taking Karate and loves it. We just have to make sure that the new “skills” are not practiced on a brother at home. Keyan loves Kindergarten and is doing great.
Kye (2) is last in line but definitely not the least. He is growing up quickly and can really carry on a good conversation. He makes us laugh daily with the fun things that he says. He loves to watch football and thinks that every game is the Cougars. He still loves Cars and cannot get enough. The DVD is worn out and on its last leg from being used so much.
Brigette is having fun being close to her family. She got to help with her sister’s wedding in November and all sorts of other family functions. She was recently asked to be in charge of all the children at Church (90 kids from 18 months to 12 years old). She is doing great and loving her assignment. She is always volunteering at the school for this or that. She is a great mom and wife.
Justin is still doing the same old thing- working every day. Not enough time to golfing, mountain biking or boating. He is the Cubmaster for the 8-10 year old scouts.
As a family we went to Disneyland this year. That was a great trip and good fun for all. We got to Lake Powell once, when gas was $4.25 per gallon, and that was fun. We also had BYU season football tickets again and had many Saturdays of 8-10 hours of football. Needless to say we are doing well.
Most of all, we are grateful for all of you. We appreciate your friendship and love and support. We are grateful for the holiday season and the time it gives us to reflect on what is really important. We encourage all of you to do the same.

Love the Comish Family
